Also in October 2016: Craft Club

A good chunk of members turned up at The Castle Pub for our regular Craft Club this month (our craft club takes place every third Monday of the month)!

 

Carrying armfuls of stash from home and with a mission to get making items for a our, now confirmed, stall at the Blue Belles WI Craft Fair on Saturday 26 November 2016!

 

We have the amazingly talented Jenny A producing beautiful folk art style greetings cards.  Eleanor C has painstakingly sorted through the huge stash for just the right buttons for more awesome crimbo card adornment.  We have the cutest button trees, santas and snowmen by our Pres Lisa H and bright crocheted coasters on the way from Molly H.  We've started making festive shaped and trimmed fabric decorations with help from Mel R, Ruth T, Bronwyn R and Sam J, plus gorgeous vintage Tea Cup Pin Cushions from Helen L and Helen B!  

 

And we need more! Lots more contributions are welcome from all our members, to sell and raise money for our chosen charity - Cambridge Rape Crisis Centre.   Plus volunteers to help run the stall on the day!  Email camcitywi@gmail.com to let us know what you can make or if you have any free time to help.
