What made you join Cam City WI?

​

When I was growing up I was taken to various different WI's with my family so when I moved to Cambridge to come to university I left Lincoln WI (where my mum and gran are current members) and I visited.  I started looking to find the closest one to me as I loved the a wonderful experiences and friends gained from being a member of WI.  I found CamCity in December 2014 and have enjoyed every moment being a member since.

What's your life philosophy?

​

There are two quotes I like to have as a philosophy for life:  

1. “Look deep into nature, and then you will understand everything better” from Albert Einstein.  

2. “Nothing is impossible, the word itself says I’m Possible”- from Audrey Hepburn.

What are your guilty pleasures?

​

My guilty pleasure is country music; I love it over any other genre of music so much! I have three pairs of cowboy boots and listen to it any opportunity I have.

If you had a million pounds, what would you do with it?

​

If I had a million pounds I’d probably pay to have my dream house built including a library that’s floor to ceiling filled with books, with bean bags and a bay window to sit in. I’d also love go on a trip around the world seeing all the one of the kind marvels of nature in this world and allow my family to do some of the things they had only dreamed of doing before that are now possible.

What's on your bucket list?

• Diving in the Great Barrier Reef 

• Experience Mardi-Gras in New Orleans

• Learn to Surf in Hawaii

What would your ideal day entail?

​

My perfect day would be laying on a beautiful tropical beach with the sun shining down, reading an enthralling book with just the sounds of crashing waves and nature in the background (OK, it’s more of a dream day but in reality) but just being able to go out and relax and enjoy nature without having to think and worry about anything.
