What made you join Cam City WI?

It's actually my 4 year anniversary of being in the WI in March 2018! Feels like longer!  I took just one person to introduce me and I was well away making new friends and taking the opportunities to join in and get involved.  I'm a very social lump - if I can avoid being in the house I will.  I'm also pretty committed to my WI, Cam City - but I do have a LOVE for the other WI's I dual with, Ladybirds and Blue Belles - I get a lot from time with all three groups in different ways.

Who inspires you and why?

​

Every single one of my friends, spending time with them and having their POV's and 'what they are about' affect my way of thinking... I learn a lot from my friends.

What's your philosophy in life? 

​

Keep on keeping on.  The world actually is not going to stop for you, me or anyone else, but you are always moving forward whatever the pace.

Secret skills / Guilty Pleasure / what's your poison? 

​

Secret skills: Workin' the patch! I can't actually get enough of patchwork and quilting (and craft in general)

Guilty Pleasure:  Fabric, Fabric, Fabric and Espresso Martini's (pretty much on hold until I use up some stash, finish some thangs and knock off a good few more bodily pounds!)

Poison: Cake (also on hold! I am sooooo fun right now! Carrots are immense!)
 

What would you do with/for a million?

With a million, I'd give it to Margot to look after for me coz you know those spondoollies would be gone within half an hour of being in Liberty!

For a million, hmmm.... hmmmmmmmm? I have standards, but I would think about any serious offers!

Top three bucket list items? 

​

1.  Be offered a million pounds

2.  Be a healthy weight

3.  Religiously read all of Margot's awesome committee minutes! and convince her that the Welsh accent does include and 'errrr' at the end of every sentence-errr! ;)

What would be the perfect day for you? 

​

A day, with money to burn, in Liberty, and cocktails with friends! oooh sounds like de ja vu and a plan! whoop! x
