Also in February 2019: Special Event - Looking for Planets

We were privileged to host a evening of star gazing - with clear skies and a hell'a'lot of cake and space cookies! (Thanks Kim!)

We spent the evening at the Institute of Astronomy on Madingley Road, Cambridge.  We had an excellent talk from scientific out-reacher Matt and a wander into the dark with a pointy laser!

We looked for planets and constellations in a telescope tower, spotted satellites and star nurseries for the baby stars.

We were all very much on actual tenterhooks watching the dying star 'Betelgeuse'... just a million years to go!
