What do you do for fun?/Hobbies and interests?

I love to travel and discover new places when I can. I also really enjoy photography, food, crafts and adore animals.

 

How did you get involved in the WI?

​

I'm relatively new to the WI but I joined after hearing about it from some friends at knitting group, who were also members of Cam City WI. They encouraged me to come along and I loved it instantly!

 

Why did you join the committee?

​

I joined the committee to get involved and help out with the organising. I think the committee do a fantastic job and I wanted to contribute.

 

What is your favourite thing about the WI? 

​

I love the diversity of the WI and how everyone is supportive and kind to each other. It makes you feel as though you're part of something very special. 

 

What is your worst habit?

​

Probably leaving clothes on the bedroom floor!

 

Who would you most like to meet and why?

​

I'd quite like to have coffee and cake with Beverley Knight. I've seen her in a couple of musicals and she was captivating. She's also from the Midlands like me!

 

What is your craft? 

​

That's a difficult question as I like to have a go at most things but the crafts I'm enjoying at the moment are crochet, knitting and quilting.

 

What is/are your guilty pleasure(s)? 

​

Reality tv ... I know a lot of it is trash but it's so easy to watch and incredibly addictive.

 

What are your committee responsibilities? 

​

I plan to help out in whichever area I can be of most use. I help out with organisation and admin, for example answering emails or queries, keeping data up to date, getting in touch with organisers with regards to meetings. I'll also partake in discussions and just generally help out when and where it is needed.

 

What is your poison? 

​

I'm partial to a nice fruity cocktail!
