What made you join Cam City WI?

 

I met Esther Blaine through a vintage Facebook group as she was talking about her book club, so I went, met Esther and other lovely ladies, they chatted about Cam City WI and I was interested in the WI anyway so I came along!

Who inspires you and why?

Anyone who overcomes difficulty in their life, particularly women!

What's your life philosophy?

​

My philosophy is based on my Christian faith, I believe very much in living life to the full and treating everyone equally. 

​

What are your secret skills?

 

Independence and resilience, because I am severely deaf, am being tested for Multiple Sclerosis, work with my husband John in the military antiques business so money has been tight in the past and dealing with the public at Cambridge market could drive you insane!

What's your guilty pleasure?

​

My guilty pleasure is to sing and dance around the house to the Beatles!

If you had a million pounds, what would you do with it?

 

I would help animals in some way.

What's on your bucket list?

​

See the Northern Lights, travel around the USA for a year or two to see everything, and step inside the TARDIS!

What would your ideal day entail?

​

My ideal day would be to explore somewhere new with John and our dog Rusty, have lunch with some friends or my family, and watch an old movie (war, musical, Hitchcock) with a G&T :)
