May 2016: Quilting & Pretty Pin Cushion Making

We had a super practical crafty meeting, welcoming experienced and lovely Quilter and Textile Artist, Mary McIntosh.  She showed members a serious amount of patchwork quilts and art pieces that she has produced over a number of years being a teacher and exhibitor.

We also provided each member with a little English Paper Piecing kit to stitch their own Hexie Pin Cushion! Colourful prints and new techniques for some saw some great progress during the session an pics of finished pin cushions popping up on our social media! We do love a crafty session.
