More than just a meeting...
Walking Club
we are a social bunch and like together outside of our main meeting for clubs. One of which is Walking club, whereby a few keen members alternate showing us different free and local to Cambridgeshire walks that vary in length but are accessible for a wide range of all abilities of walkers. AND we often like to reward our efforts with a pub/café lunch at the end of the walk (staying/lunch is optional). Places we have walked over the last few years include; Reach, Ely, Madingley, Lode, Bridge the Gap; College grounds walk. Taking a walk with your fellow WI members is a great way to have time to chat and get to know each other better and partners, family and pets are all welcome (if routes permit animals etc).
Craft Club
we are a social bunch and like together outside of our main meeting for clubs. Once a member you will be able to keep in touch via the Camcity WhatsApp group to find out more details on what time and where the craft group will be running that month, but usually we meet in a pub and bring some sort small craft project or art pieces we are currently working on. Also a great place to skill share and get ideas for fun projects.
Book Club
we are a social bunch and like together outside of our main meeting for clubs. Once a member you will be able to keep in touch via the Camcity WhatsApp group to find out more details on what time and where the book club will be meeting, you don't have to of read the book to come along, often its a great place to discuss other reads and get ideas for possible recommendations for future reads from our well read members.
